What is it like to sing with Measure for Measure?
Measure for Measure’s performance season runs September through May, divided into trimesters. Members may choose to sing in any or all trimesters for the season. We rehearse most Sunday evenings from 6:30 – 9:00 pm at St. Luke Lutheran Church, located at 4205 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI.
Our current season has the following performances (these are tenative):
- September 15 – Fall Rehearsals Begin @ St. Luke (new member auditions)
- October 19 – EMU Choir Homecoming Concert @ Pease Auditorium
- December 6 – Sounds of the Season @ St. Francis
- December 13 – Sacred Music in a Sacred Space @ St. Andrews – Saline
- December 21 – Holiday Pops w/A2SO @ Hill Auditorium
How do I audition?
Auditions are held the first two rehearsals of each trimester for new members. This coming season’s audition dates are September 15th and September 22nd.
Prospective members will be able to participate in a rehearsal, followed by an audition with our director, Steven Lorenz. The brief audition will consist of vocal exercises and a site reading exercise. We look forward to singing with you this season!
