Brendan Closz is the Director of Choirs for Howell High School where the choirs have consistently received division 1 ratings at choral festivals. During school hours, he directs five choirs, teaches Rock Band, oversees three additional extra-curricular ensembles. In addition, he is the vocal director for Howell High School’s yearly musical.
Outside of the classroom, Brendan sings with the semi-professional ensemble TBD A Cappella which performs concerts and gives educational workshops across the state as well as serving as host and coordinator for the Michigan Schools Vocal Music Association’s Solo & Ensemble and State Choral Festivals.
Brendan received both his BA in Music Education and MA in Music Conducting from Western Michigan University.
Brendan is dedicated to creating lifelong singers by providing the highest quality choral experiences for his singers.
